I currently hold a Lasting Power of Attorney over my mother's financial and property affairs.She now resides in a dementia care home as she is unable to care for herself.
A few years ago,prior to her illness,she decided to change her will,which I have just found and read.Firstly,the percentages of her estate appear to be wrongly apportioned-this was discussed when my father was still alive,thus I know what their intentions were-and secondly,although the document has been witnessed,it is not signed or dated by my mother.
Can anyone advise me of the legal situation and is the will still valid?
