Hi i have an issue with a CCJ i have recieved letters from Lowell back in April then they sent a summonds for a CCJ which again i never recieved or responded to now i have a ccj in my name - i have tried to set it aside but was told theres no pint, does anyone know if i can do anything about this as i really dont feel like i have been treated fairly at all with me not getting the chance to any letters as they wrote to a previous address i was renting that i was evicted from as the landlord wasnt paying his mortgage?

hello,can anyone help me please,14 or 15 years ago tsb gave me a bank loan,unfortunately i havent paid a penny off this loan as i ended up unemployed after i took it out,now for a few years ive been receiving letters asking me and telling me that they will take me to court or send someone around to collect installments but nothing has happened,now i was wanting to know do i have to pay or start to pay this after so many years????and do rossendales have any power to levy goods on this????i have had a letter from rossendales saying that the other company have had no re-response from me and now they are taking it over,i already have an open case for council tax with them and im keeping my payments,can they do anthing thanks for reading this hope to get some help.

Just joined this site - I had an alleged PPI reclaim debt with Belmont Thornton. This debt has been disputed for 2 years and now I find that Belmont Thornton have sold the debt whilst in dispute with no acknowledgement to me. They have sold the debt to Merligen -which I have had no correspondance with until I received a letter from their solicitors threatening legal action if I didn't contact them within 14 days. I wrote to the solicitors Old Bailey address (within 7 days) to advise that this is a disputed debt but today I received court papers - so I am hoping to gain some advice as to what next.
