I'm having issues with a car I have purchased.
I bought a car from a independent dealer in Swindon ~60 days ago now. 40 minutes after I bought it, the engine seized and blew.
The garage agreed to repair the car and I arranged for it to be towed to a local garage, the replacement engine they sourced and ordered between them seems to have been faulty also (Direct Engines UK - Glasgow).
I've asked for a swap back of my part-ex or a full refund but have been refused multiple times by the original garage as they state, they've paid for the engine and it's not their fault it was faulty.
I haven't been provided with a courtesy car during this time, so have had to pay £650 in hire car charges so far.
Unsure what my options are moving forward, at this point, I just want a full refund, for them to collect their car and for myself to take my business elsewhere.
