I had a debt go to court (I missed to boat on this one), only for £50 and is now at £119.61, after already paying £30 in two instalments. I have been late in paying this month and they have sent out a letter saying they are about to issue a Warrant of Control against me, which will incur additional fees and costs which will be added to the amount I already owe. Unless I pay the amount of the Warrant the Court Bailiff will call at my address with a view to taking control of goods belonging to me. Then some more thereats of taking my goods etc. If I want to avoid this I have to take immediate action and contact their instructing agents to make a payment or reach an agreement. This is from Aplins, and the 'agents' are DLC. I have gone online and made an immediate payment of £15, the late instalment. Should I still contact them? There is only a telephone number.
Warrant of control?
