I got disciplined for being late to work by 4 hours and also because i didnt ring in before 11am to let them know... The reason was i slept through my alarms.. The reason for that was it was my first day back at work after a 2 week holiday to Mexico 7 and 8 hours behind... I told them it must be jet lag but they have branded me as being irresponsible and having poor timekeeping and this is the outcome.. I want to appeal because i have read that Jet Lag should be classed as a more severe thing and this should be the reason as to why this incident happened... Can you help?
