Hi,
I have been subject to a disciplinary procedure and I have decided to resign in the middle of it as I was founding the whole process incredibly stressful. I was also under the impression that a resignation would look better on my reference record than an outright dismissal, but the opposite appears to be the case!
My employer is stating on the references that I have resigned during stage 3 disciplinary process for allegations of gross misconduct and most of the other employers seem to be treating this as me actually being dismissed. Is there any way for me to stop them from doing this? It's starting to feel that I should have gone to the disciplinary meeting as even if I was dismissed it would not have been worse than this. :tinysmile_cry_t:
