Last year I had a claim by Cabot struck out because they couldn't provide any documents. Yesterday I received a letter from them welcoming me to Cabot and saying that they had recently bought this debt?? Very odd given that they issued a claim against me last year. The new debt amount totals the original claim amount plus the court fees and the references are the same as the old ones. Should I just ignore this or write to them pointing out that I'm not new to them and they haven't just bought this debt ?!!
