Parcel2go and Yodel Stolen Parcel Claim

Hi all



Im new here and am looking for some advice surrounding a claim I have submitted to parcel2go for a parcel that was stolen from a Yodel depot.



I paid 50 pounds extra to insure the parcel when booking the collection and has now been confirmed as stolen by Police. However, both parcel2go and Yodel are really dragging their feet and the only way to contact them is via Twitter and Facebook. They tell me that the claim is being investigated and I have to wait. But after almost a month, I am still out of pocket by £1500.



Are they allowed to drag their heals like this? Surely if the parcel had been stolen whilst in their care, they are liable. Especially if I have paid extra to insure it......



Any help would be appreciated.
