Welcome to the listing for our beloved Motorhome 1997 Fiat Ducato 585 , 2.5 TD , 5 Berth
Where to start! Well this is without a shadow of a doubt, a very well cared for and well maintained Motorhome that would delight new owners for many years to come.
The vehicle is superb condition throughout. 59,000 genuine miles on the clock. We have invested both time and money to bring the vehicle up to our exacting standards. We have spent intermittently traveling on the continent living in the vehicle for several weeks at a time, and has never once failed to let us down. We have grown very fond of 'Jeronimo,' but sadly, new work commitments forces a very reluctant sale.
The vehicle is incredibly well presented and has been cleaned to a very high standard both inside and out and is ready to be used by the new owners immediately.
DESCRIPTION:
On purchasing the motorhome, the first thing we did straight away was to have a full 46 STAGE HABITATION CHECK undertaken by a REGISTERED MOBILE CARAVAN ENGINEER'S (MCEA) APPOINTED & ACOPS GAS CERTIFICATED ASSESSOR... to carry out a full inspection of:
1. Water systems and appliances
2. Gas supply and appliances
3. Fire safety
4. Electrical systems 12v / 230v
5. CO Test & report
From the findings of the report we had a brand new Carver Cascade Rapide Water Heater & a brand new Truma Carver 3600 STC Gas Space Heater professionally installed which have hardly been used since.
The length of the vehicle is 5.5m x 3.0m in height.
It does have power steering and drives beautifully and is easy to manoeuvre even in confined spaces.

Mechanically the vehicle is in very sound condition throughout. The engine does not have any knocks, bangs or vibrations and runs exceptionally well. No leaks from any of the gaskets and the general condition of the engine is excellent and very clean. There is, like many diesels of this type a small puff of black smoke upon ignition which is normal.
This really is a wonderful motorhome and will be the delight of future owners for many years to come. I have endeavored to be as transparent and honest in every way possible, as I am keen to find the right buyers who would enjoy and appreciate it as much as we have!
