Just found out that Acenden Mortgages is in the process of being taken over by 2 American backed companies, namely Blackstone Tactical Opportunities and TPG Special Situation Partners, from the administrators of Lehman Brothers. The 2 main people responsible for this takeover used to work for Lehman Bros.
'The transaction is expected to close in early 2015, subject to customary and regulatory and antitrust approvals'.
Also on their list is Mortgage Group Kensington, and if it goes ahead, their boss will be an ex RBS exec.
What are your thoughts on this.
