A young man works in a re-cycling unit where he and others, all males, are out in all weathers lifting and sorting often wet boxes and bins. To his amazement he has just discovered that the company's employees who do light work in the warm and comfy office, one male and five females, receive exactly the same wage for the same hours although the office staff do not work on Saturdays and Bank holidays. This seems extremely unjust but is there anything they can legally do about it?
Unjust wage?
