Sick to my back teeth!

For the fourth time this year my card has been blocked by Nationwide in relation to an online purchase. There is no reason for them to do this as the account is always extremely healthy yet there are these blocks, usually involving the 'verified by visa' data confirmation.

I am so, so sick of this. But there is a pattern. It seems that, after a large transaction, like flight purchases, there is either an immediate block or, if it has been an international transaction, the block always appears on transactions once the sleepy bosses in the UK waken up enough to look at their screens.



I would really like some advice on this. Nationwide has been complained to about this for several years, especially after they blocked a hotel check-out payment on the other side of the world, but they have never, ever apologised or even explained this behaviour. This behaviour and the total disregard for the inconvenience they cause has now reached an apex and they have to be dealt with.



I know this is not a call from someone in dire need but I am sick of this treatment and it needs to be sorted.
