Help!

Long story short I was very naive when I was younger I was thrown store cards overdrafts left right and centre. I hadn't a clue what a credit rating was. At 20 I had a little boy lost my job and didn't and couldn't afford to pay anything off. It is only recently that i truely realised my mistake and the huge hole I had dug with no sign of a way out. I have been attempting to pay off my debts one by one in full going through my credit history.

Today I came home work (It has been since getting back into full time employment that I can start paying back what I owe)

To find a letter from County court business centre Northampton saying a case has been assigned to the claimant on 20/12/14 for

Amount claimed : £668.49

Court fee : £60.00

Solicitor cots : £70.00

Total : £798.49

Checking my credit file the amount slightly differs but defaulted 19/01/2012

I have never had any direct contact with Lowell with this account and cannot afford £798.49 in one go my essential bills eat most of my wage instantly. As I am trying to reduce my negative imprint on my credit file I also cannot afford a CCJ, can anyone share some advice on where I stand/ next steps

Anything is greatly appreciated
