Volkswagen T2 Early Bay 1.6 Pop Top Campervan
We are selling our much loved Campervan Florence! It will be sad to see her go but were now looking for something with more room (Grandchildren getting bigger) she runs well and has taken us on some great camping trips around England.
She is a left hand drive, early Bay German import, tax exempt, so Road Tax is free and she comes with 12 months MOT.
Since 2006 over £15k has been spent on the van, we have a folder of invoices for all work carried out. She had a full re-spray in Sept 2006 we have just had a new engine fitted by a VW Campervan specialist in April 2015 which has a 2 year guarantee plus new clutch, fuel pump and new alternator as it made sense as the engine was out (Cost £3600). She has a Smev double gas burner and sink with running water (12v) fitted aux. battery.
There is plenty of storage space which includes room for large fresh and waste water containers (included in the sale). In the front cabin the original seats have been re-covered and new door trims and carpets fitted. We have installed a CD/radio added door mounted speakers, fitted a new gear lever and new grab handles. The van has been lowered (but not too much) and sits on BRM alloys. She is fitted with a full width fold out bed and a pop top roof which has twin hammocks.
Viewing welcome. We had intended keeping her so we replaced the out riggers, jacking points and has a complete new floor fitted which has been under sealed for protection, New Ball Joints, Track rod ends, steering link and complete New Exhaust & Heat Exchangers.
She also has just had a new Waeco Coolmatic CR50 Compressor (48Lt) 12v fridge/freezer fitted (warranty receipt included).
Included in the sale is a full set of thermal window blinds, a Just Kampers exterior cover (£110), fresh & waste water bottles and a front roof rack.
