First thing is thank you for allowing me to be part of your club. I have been looking at various forums as a letter i received today has prompted me to post
In 2009 i took out a loan with a well know car finance company. They specialised in sub prime loans. And yes i was exploited and defaulted.
In april last year i received a letter from a Debt collection agency for which i ignored. Today i received another letter from a different debt collection agency saying they had my details from a previous address. They said for me to contact them if i was not the named person. (Like i am going to do that)
It seems obvious the second Debt collection agency is collecting on behalf of the first one or sub contracted out
This becomes statute barred in 8 months so i am looking for advice to stay low.
This is not about debt avoidance as i settle my obligation. It is just this company caused me 12 months of misery to the extent of a breakdown and have had more than enough money out of me
