Hi, I signed up for a welding course with Trading Gateway yesterday, when their advisor came around I signed up the next day and very kindly had me sign a pre-contract credit agreement with Caledonian Consumer Finance Ltd. I didn't know the name of the "school" until he left and immediately looked it up online only to find many complaints about them.
I sent a text to the advisor informing him that I had changed my mind and sent an email to the finance company they set me up with only to find the address doesn't exist.
My main concern is, if I cancel the course in writing with Trading Gateways, will I still have to pay as Caledonian Consumer Finance Ltd can't be reached?
