Firstly ide like to say I'm very ashamed to say that about a year ago I changed the price tags on a dress in a local store and got caught. This was my first ever offence and may I add last I don't know what I was thinking. Anyway the police were called and I ended up not being arrested but an officer later in the week as arranged came to my house to take a statement and issue me with a fixed penalty notice fine which I instantly paid. My question now is do I have a criminal record? I have applied for a new job requiring a DBS check done will this show up . and ruin my chances of getting this job. I'm looking for advice not judgement as I know I did wrong and have certainly learned from my mistakes
worried about DBS check for a new job can anyone help please
