Hi everyone, Im new to this site so please excuse me if I get things wrong :xmasred: Approx 3 years I arranged to pay a Halifax debt with Cabot Financial and agreed to pay it in small amounts. I have never missed a payment but now theyve wrote to me to say that they have just taken over my account from Halifax and I need to get in touch with them to arrange to pay...but I am already paying! theyre now ringing me all the time too though I havent answered them yet. Also, theyre saying I owe over £500 when I actually owe £330..how can they get this wrong and tell me theyve taken over my debt when they already have it? What should I do?
