Can anyone tell me how long do the insurers have to pay out a straight forward claim. I had an accident a year ago, I was not at fault,
3rd party admitted and their insurers admitted. I have still not been paid out. The legal people my insurers have used have given me the run around. I started off with one person then it was delayed because they changed to another person. Nothing was done for a longish period of time until I chased it and I have been chasing it ever since. Now all that is left is an excess I had to pay which the 3rd party has missed for believe it or not £111.70 and I am still waiting to get this sorted, I have contact my legal and they just say we are on with it but nothing is happening.
HELP is needed please! I just want this out of the way and finalised.
