Long story but I have a ccj registered by a family money for some money that was given to me but then following a falling out they took me to court and got a ccj against me. I never received any letters and first I knew about it was back in April when an enforcement officer turned up to take repossession of my car. Anyway to cut a long story short I have been ordered to repay at £350 a month. the original sum was for £14000 but now the debt stands at £20600 due to the sheriffs fees and daily interest. I contacted the sheriffs office to ask for the interst to be frozen who in turn contacted my family members solicitors, but they refused . is there any other way of getting this interest frozen as I will be paying this debt for ever more if not
Is there anyway to get interest frozen on a CCJ
