Hi there, been suspended from work, help!!!!

Hi there, I'm just after some advice, yesterday morning after having 2 days off because my pregnant partner was rushed into hospital with a kidney infection. I have been suspended from a driving job because of 3 alledged offences none that will stick and Warrant me been dismissed but I've heard through the grapevine the boss has told another employee I'm getting the sack, is he in his rights to discuss that with work colleagues and apparently they have a new driver learning my run. I was under the impression they have to conduct a investigation and the person doing the disaplinary makes the decision. Basicially I heard I was going to be sacked on Fri half a hour after I have been suspended. So I have told them I need more time to prepare my case. Any help would be great people.
