I'm in a very similar boat, I paid for a ticket but threw it away (as i generally do with tickets). Received a fine letter over 2 months later... i don't know why the parking wasn't registered etc. Upon the advice of many friends I ignored the letters and then they stopped. Just short of one year the letters started coming again, they are now coming from debtors stating they are taking me to court. rightly or wrongly I just keep ignoring these letters... what should i do now... I'm worried about going to court! The first letter came about Nov 2013.
